Aplication

Renowned for its versatility, MMA is primarily utilized as a monomer for organic glass. Additionally, it finds use in fabricating an extensive array of resins, plastics, coatings, and adhesives. Beyond these, MMA is integral in the formulation of lubricants, wetting agents suitable for wood and cork, and contributes to the sheen of paper polishes, amongst other applications.

Storage

Typically, MMA products are fortified with polymerization inhibitors to ensure stability. Store in a cool, well-ventilated environment, distinctly separated from fire and heat sources. Protect from light exposure and maintain storage temperatures below 37 ºC. Packaging must remain sealed, preventing air contact. It is critical to keep MMA separate from oxidants, acids, bases, and halogens, avoiding co-storage. Large-scale or prolonged storage is unsuitable. Utilize explosion-proof lighting and ventilation systems. Prevent using spark-prone mechanical equipment and tools. Equip storage areas with emergency leak response facilities and appropriate containment materials.
