Primarily employed as a monomer for organic glass, it finds extensive use in the production of other resins, plastics, coatings, adhesives, lubricants, wetting agents for wood and cork, as well as paper polishes, and more.
Typically, products are enhanced with polymerization inhibitors. Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources. Protect from light exposure. Do not exceed a storage temperature of 37 ºC. Packaging must be airtight and keep away from air contact. Store separately from oxidants, acids, bases, halogens, etc., avoiding co-storage. Not advisable for large-scale or prolonged storage. Employ explosion-proof lighting and ventilation. Avoid using spark-generating machinery and tools. The storage area should be equipped with emergency leak response equipment and appropriate containment materials.
