Primarily utilized as a monomer to craft organic glass, it also serves in the production of various other resins, plastics, coatings, adhesives, lubricants, and as wetting agents for wood and cork, as well as paper polishes, among others.
Typically, products are supplemented with polymerization inhibitors. Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources. Keep out of light exposure. The storage temperature must not exceed 37 ºC. Ensure the packaging is sealed and avoids air exposure. It should be stored separately from oxidants, acids, bases, halogens, etc., to prevent mixed storage. Unsuitable for large-scale or long-term storage. Utilize explosion-proof lighting and ventilation systems. Avoid using spark-generating mechanical equipment and tools. The storage area should be equipped with emergency leak response tools and appropriate containment materials.
